More and more executives have reached the prime of their career and at the same time lead colleagues who are sometimes by far younger than they are. On the other hand people already have leadership responsibilities at the beginning of their careers and lead colleagues who might (almost) be their parents.
This leadership work between the generations more and more often raises questions concerning an active styling of your leadership role. There is the risk of misunderstandings and conflicts, which are different from those between people of a similar age. What should executives do when it comes to “Young leads Old“ respectively “Old leads the Facebook-generation”?
This seminar will help executives to find answers for good inter-generational leadership in everyday business as well as in special leadership situations. It will also help to gain understanding for the respective (life-) position of the other one, and thus to cooperate in a better way, especially with difficult leadership tasks like appraisal interviews, conveying of appreciation and criticism or talent management and staff retention.
Executives and project managers who lead especially young and / or older employees; young executives; executives with big age differences in their teams.
