Are you just preparing for your new leadership position? Or have you already taken over leadership tasks?
In case you are looking for an intensive leadership training and are in the mood of pursuing your personal development as an executive together with a small network of companions, this is the place to be!

“New in Leadership” consists of three modules which cover a period of several months. Profound knowledge and reliable experiences for an everyday leadership practise will be communicated in these modules. The focus and top priority is to apply the things you have learned and experienced directly in your professional environment. This is what you can implement between the individual modules.
A well-reflected awareness of different roles, leadership techniques and efficient methods will support you when taking over a new responsibility. You will get extensive feedback on the effect of your personal performance. You will hear what constitutes your profile, how this affects your leadership behaviour and which values and attitudes define your communications behaviour. You will learn to use your strengths and work on your weaknesses effectively.
A synthesis of basic training, practical exercises, case supervision, professional exchange, team development, networks and sequences of consultation will initiate individual development processes. At the end of this programme you will be ready to take the first steps as a superior and you will enjoy performing your leadership responsibility.

Please find a description of the topics planned below. This is just a guideline. It will be amended by the expectations of the group and the practice-oriented topics of the individual participants, as they will arise in the course of the process.

Module 1
Essentials and more
Views of leadership, roles, tools 

This module is about building up, deepening and extending a viable knowledge of leadership. The essential factors for success of leadership will be discussed and practised. You will enlarge your individual competence for your daily practise.
The individual attitude towards the role as a leader will be developed and reflected. Existing, often unconscious views will be challenged and, if necessary, redefined.

  • Understanding and making use of leadership styles
  • Gaining and keeping sovereignty
  • Internal communication and stakeholder management from the “sandwich position”

  • Clarifying images of the others and self-images (profiling)
  • Handling your own and the limitations of the others
  • Practises and aha moments on the topic of “leadership”

Module 2
Leadership communication in practice

Now you are in the game! We will solve our own examples from everyday work. We will work together as a team on specific, viable solutions. After that we will clarify the best-possible steps for implementation, which correspond with the framework conditions - in practice.
In doing so, previously discussed topics will be intensified, connected, assessed and put in relation to each other. Here you will certainly be challenged in two different ways: as a ”principal and listener” as well as a “trouble shooter and consultant”. Two exciting and stirring days!
On the way to well-functioning solutions the following points play an important part. For that purpose deepening exercises will be carried out, according to the situation (with the aid of a video camera, if requested).

  • Classics (performance appraisals, giving and accepting feedback, delegating tasks, …)
  • Acting confidently in meetings
  • Resolving conflicts constructively
  • ”Get down on it right from the start!” The balance between priorities, resources and other factors for success.

Module 3
Leadership in everyday practice

The focus of module 3 is to discuss and find answers for your important questions concerning the topic of ”leadership”. Exchange of experiences of all participants and the reflection of the coach will guarantee exciting and stirring moments.
The topics mentioned below will be answered by means of additional examples from everyday work, little exercises, cooperative consulting and, of course, an open discussion. It will in fact be tailored to your individual situation and definitely not a ready-made solution!

  • How do I implement my ”stakeholder management” specifically?
  • What exactly does my ”plan” look like?
  • Where does my journey take me, and do I act adequately today?
  • What is my position in terms of talent management?

  • What exactly are our motives for effort?
  • Where exactly is my team?  
  • What is my role in the team?  
  • How do I lead a virtual team?
  • How exactly do I identify myself as a change manager?
  • Do I have the same understanding of my goals as my boss, each of my staff, my colleagues?
  • To whom am I of use today?
  • Considering the way I act today – can I carry on as a ”top manager” until I turn seventy?
  • Who will support me when it becomes tight?
  • Where do I get my vital impulses, stimuli and advice?
