In our globalised working environments, inter-cultural teams are a significant part of doing business. Managers have to prove themselves abroad, employees are required to work with staff in other countries and meetings are carried out internationally via web conferences. Constellations such as these are often breeding grounds for undesired misunderstandings and exhausting power struggles. This seminar examines the causes of such conflicts and offers practical assistance in dealing with inter-cultural situations. The goal is to sensitise participants to the challenges of inter-cultural team work, expand skills and competence and learn to emphasis differences for co-operative success. The training is divided to address 3 thematic areas: Inter-Cultural Team Competence Perceptual Mindset Awareness and Tolerance Conflict Resolution Strategies Particular attention will be given to individual participant needs and focus on their practical experience.
